Learning the Internet
Estes Park, Colorado, April 17, 1996:
On Wednesday, April 17, 1996 EPICUG will meet in the Hondius Room of the Estes Park
Library at 7:00 P.M. Last month over 50 people attended! The April meeting will show
case the Estes Park Librarys new Public Internet Access computer! Judy Hoxsey, Director
of the Library will explain why we have it and how you can use it. Peter Marsh will
present a free comprehensive handout "Internet Terminology" being developed for use at
Estes Park On-Line. This is valuable information you wont want to miss. Lee Lasson will
demonstrate Microsofts new FrontPage 1.1 web authoring and management tool which is
the easiest and fastest way to create and manage a web site. The meeting will also feature
the new BYO-URL (Bring Your Own URL) segment where webmasters can show the
group their site and surfers can share what they have found that is cool! So BYO-URL!
What is EPICUG?
Estes Park Internet Computer Users Group (EPICUG). With the coming of age of the
Internet and the World Wide Web, the 10 year old Computer Users Group embraces the
new cross platform technologies of the Internet which provides the impetus for the re-birth
of the group as the Estes Park Internet Computer Users Group (EPICUG).
· EPICUG meetings are free and open to all with an interest in computers and the Internet.
Bring your questions as there is always ample time for Q&A. Start learning with EPICUG
where users help users.
