Apple logo seen in reverse from inside a buildingWednesday, March 18, 7:00 pm in the Hondius Room – Joe Calvin (myself) will present “MacOS50/iOS50” a demonstration of 100 productivity features of the Apple operating systems that you may not know about. These features will help you get work done faster, protect you from scams, and increase your enjoyment of these devices. However, they’re well hidden secrets. I’ve been using a Mac since ’88 and am an iOS developer. Over the year, little bits of code have found their way into the systems. These gems aren’t exposed in the interface, because frankly, there isn’t room. Knowing that they’re there is what separates the “beginner” from the “guru”. We’re all somewhere between these extremes, and we all have something to learn and teach. I’ve documented what I’ve discovered (with handouts), and would love to hear what you know too. Please join us Wednesday evening. Questions welcome. All EPICUG meetings and events are free and open to the Public.

We’re looking for someone to give a similar presentation on Windows and Android (other platforms). Any volunteers? -Please e-mail me.
